Hawk Brakes, an OE manufacturer of friction materials, had a small line of racing and performance brakes. The company wanted to leverage their respected OE reputation to enter high performance, severe duty and fleet markets. Faced with a number of significant challenges, we conducted thorough research and uncovered specific sales opportunities. We developed a road map that would guide Hawk Brake into specific markets, while utilizing independent test laboratories to direct the R&D. We “got the right team on the bus” by hiring people with the right experience and the right talent. We also built on existing Motorsports programs to enhance the marketing efforts.
