Receives awards in American Graphic Design and Davey Awards competitions
San Rafael, CA – The Marx Group has received award recognition for creative work completed on behalf of Sloan Transportation Products for its MAXXDuty product line. The Marx Group received an American Graphic Design Award for its MAXXDuty magazine tip-in piece and a silver award in the Davey Awards for the entire MAXXDuty campaign which included the tip-in and MAXXDuty branding and TriMAXX plug illustration ads.
“We devoted a lot of time and energy to the MAXXDuty campaign,” said Tom Marx, president of The Marx Group. “To receive honors in two different competitions is a small recognition of the unique and effective creative work that we completed for Sloan.”
The 2006 American Graphic Design Awards, sponsored by Adobe Systems Incorporated, honors outstanding new work of all kinds: print, packaging, point-of-purchase, internet, interactive and motion graphics. Winners receive an embossed Certificate of Excellence for each piece selected and become eligible for reproduction in Graphic Design USA’s Awards Annual, seen by over 100,000 colleagues and clients each year.
The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets. The Davey is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who's Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.
